Introduction:
We are a rapidly expanding Specialist Concrete Contractor within the Construction industry and are seeking to employ an experienced Training Co-ordinator to oversee Training for Mitchellson F & CE Office and Site Personnel as well as providing essential support to our Health and Safety Department.
Description of Role:
Responsible for developing Training plans, organising course requirements and identifying Training needs with assistance and guidance from Site Project Managers and the Health and Safety department. You will also be acting as the focal point for our CITB Grant Scheme. Additional task will include maintaining Employee Training records, fulfilling the company's annual Training plan requirements and adhering to Mitchellson F & CE Policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities;
Liaising with Project Managers to Identify Training Needs through Training Maxtrix
Booking of Training, including Health & Safety Tests and relaying of booking confirmation and information to candidates
Adhering to CITB procedures
Liaising with Training Providers and Examining Bodies/CITB/Site Project Managers/Construction Supervisors
Gathering of Employee Training Evidence which will include Site visits
Processing of Applications for CSCS & CPCS Cards and Payments
Checking Health & Safety Tests and Cards online with Phoenix
Tracking running Training hours
Updating of CITB Actual Training inline with CITB procedures
Collation of Training Evidence signature sheets
Distribution of Certificates/Cards & logbooks for Training provided to our Employees
Issuing of HSE Updates
Issuing of Mitchellson F & CE Training Site Files
Issuing of relevant Training revision materials
Updating of Actual and Planned Training Schedule
Issuing of Health & Safety Alerts, Bulletins and Latest HSE and applicable Construction news
Updating accident spreadsheets and collation of information to assist Health & Safety Advisor/Managers in Accident investigating
Co-ordination of Site Health Assessments and Updating of Employee Records
Liaising with external suppliers
Hours: 8-5pm Monday to Friday
