Temp to Perm Accounts Payable/ Stock Control Assistant
£17,000 per annum
Our client, a large retail company whose head office is based near Oxford Circus, are looking for an Accounts Payable/ Stock Control Assistant to support the Stock Control Manager. This is a role that will be split between the 2 functions. Two days are spent on Stock Control and three days are spent on Accounts Payable and general Administrative tasks.
A high degree of accuracy, discretion and attention to detail are essential for this role. You will have an open and friendly manner, excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team player. You need to be familiar with range of different accounting packages and have an excellent knowledge of Excel as well as methodical and accurate approach to work.
Duties:
•Matching and processing invoices and manifests including checking quantities and cost prices
•Resolving queries with Warehouse, B&M and Suppliers
•Raising debit notes and matching to incoming credits
•Reconciling supplier statements on a monthly basis
•Raising Cheques
•Raising Telegraphic Transfers
•Creating Bacs payments and sending remittances
•Filing and archiving
•This role is to support the Stock Control manager by keeping control of accurate data capture of known and unknown shrinkage.
•Daily data input of known shrinkage onto the I.P. system and excel.
•Highlight high shrinkage on lines and from what area of the business.
•Filing paperwork for audit trails.
A minimum of 6 months Administrative + Account Payable experience required. Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. If you feel you have all the skills and experience required for this position then please send your CV in as application ASAP.
