The Company
Resourcing are a headhunting agency specialising in 4 sectors where the demand for talented candidates exceeds supply. These are Pharmacy, Optometry, Buying & Merchandising.

Resourcing are the biggest supplier of Pharmacists and Optometrists in the UK and are preferred suppliers to the leaders in these fields.
We believe that most top performing people are too focused & too motivated to actively seek a job move. As a result they do not read vacancy pages, visit job boards, approach companies or visit third party recruiters. However, a significant proportion of these people will consider a job move if approached by a professional search firm like Resourcing & presented with an attractive employee value proposition.

The Role
Based in Central London, EC1 in trendy Exmouth Market (nearest tubes Farringdon, Kings Cross & Angel), Resourcing employs bright, dynamic and motivated people to provide talented candidates to their clients.

The role of a Consultant is not a sales role. The only employees undertaking business development are the Department Heads. This leaves Consultants with the time to develop close relationships with clients and contact potential candidates to ascertain whether their motivations are a match with the client’s employer value proposition (EVP).

Training
During the first 6 months Consultants will be taught a plethora of new skills through our structured training programme, which covers the 11 key modules of a consultants role. This is delivered in one to one training sessions & backed up with role-plays, shadowing, on job training, coaching sessions & plenty of support.



Initially supporting an experienced consultant they will perform the role of a researcher developing the skills to discover, question, understand & attract candidates whilst building knowledge of our industries & those who work in them.

Once a new skill is mastered they will be given a greater level of autonomy, which will quickly result in contributing to assignments from beginning to end with a good level of client contact.
There is a structured career path that continues well beyond the initial months & years as we look to fill the roles with people who have progressed within the company

Promotion Opportunities
All Department Heads started as Trainee Consultants. The average time it takes to move from Trainee Consultant to Consultant is 3 months and from a Trainee Consultant to a Department Head is 18 months with earnings of c£60k per annum.

Salary
£16,000 - £20,000 pa depending upon experience. After 12 months if objectives are achieved the basic salary will rise to £22,000 (£1k increase per quarter)

Bonus Scheme
Uncapped bonus opportunity with potential to earn between £10 – 20k of bonus per annum.
