We have a position vacant in our Hammersmith branch for an experienced payroll officer. The position is to start as soon as possible.

SANZA Teaching Agency is an independently owned Recruitment Agency specialising in the recruitment of teachers from abroad. SANZA, an acronym for “South Africa New Zealand Australia” originally operated their business from North London. As the name SANZA gradually promoted itself around schools in the Boroughs of Islington and Hackney the company was able to increase their teacher supply through word of mouth. This in turn laid the foundations for one of the most successful teacher recruitment agencies in London. Now boasting two London offices, SANZA recruit over 1000 teachers and support staff annually and placing them within 300 schools throughout London.
The Role...
To be successful in this role you will be a “hands on” individual and able to administer the relevant payroll processes and all the related duties associated with accurate and timely payment of contractors. Full induction and training is provided.
Duties include but are not limited to….
To enter all timesheets received into the ISS system on a weekly basis
To ensure all pay and charge rates entered into the system are correct
To check and post weekly invoices to client schools
To check and send monthly statements to client schools
To open all mail received on a daily basis
To record and bank daily cheques
To allocate all payments received
To provide a weekly report to the Senior Consultant

Must have good attention to detail
Must have previous payroll experience
Good ability to multitask
Fun and enthusiastic
Shows initiative
Experience with excel and spreadsheets
