A purchase ledger clerk is needed to help support the financial team of a UK property company, based in north London, paying approx 20-25K, three months temp to perm. This company is a growing organisation, and the position is challenging, all round, and will add wealth to your CV.
Applicant must display solid experience in purchase ledger, and property/housing experience would be beneficial, but not essential.The successful candidate must enjoy a busy and vibrant working environment. This role requires processing a high volume of invoices, being able to handle a fare amount of pressure, and generally being hard working and positive. Solid IT accounts systems knowledge is a must.
The job role entails all areas of accounts payable, as detailed below:
Dealing with varied suppliers and resolving queries that they may have.
Matching, batching and coding high volumes of supplier’s invoices to purchase order and delivery notes
Arranging payments through cheques and BACS
Preparing and reconciling accounts for payment
Assisting with other finance duties within the department
Bank recs
