Our small team of receptionists are the primary point of contact for our clients, so their professionalism in providing customer service is essential.
We're currently looking for a new receptionist to do the following shifts in our East studio:
Monday to Friday, 06:45 am - 01:45 pm.
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 am - 02:00 pm.
With such an early start, it is essential that you MUST live locally to Willow Street, EC2A 4BH.

Gumtree is obliging us to advertise this position as either permanent or temporary.
The fact is that all our receptionists are freelance and self-employed, and some of them have been with us for two years.
By remaining freelance, this job will give you the opportunity to pursue your own projects during your free time.
However, after three months, we will consider offering you a permanent contract.
The freelance rate is £ 6.00 per hour.

Duties include:
- Co-ordinating our trainers' and receptionists' diaries, to ensure that there are no gaps in service.
- Handling telephone queries professionally, and sensibly.
- Booking pilates sessions for clients on our website.
- Inputting figures into Microsoft Excel on an Apple Mac.
- Preparing a simple list of clients' names for the next day.
- Preparing a simple car parking list for the next day.
- Rotating towels through a washing machine and tumble dryer.
- Stock control - ordering mineral water, plastic cups, paper towels, etc.
In addition:
- The successful applicant will have experience in office management, and will have a drive to both advance current procedures and implement new systems to improve company function.
- We employ a cleaner for 15 hours per week, to keep our outdoor entrance, reception area, two pilates rooms, two toilets, and two shower rooms clean and tidy. However, the successful candidate will be willing to ensure that our entire space remains at least reasonably clean and tidy at all times.
- Telephoning and e-mailing potential new clients. On top of your hourly salary, you'll receive 5% of the income which you generate !
- Clever ideas which bring in new clients will also be rewarded financially.

Key Skills:
- Fluent in both spoken and written English. If you're not fluent, don't waste your time.
- Able to multi-task.
- A friendly, professional, and confident manner.
- Experience in telesales.
- Ideally knows how to use Microsoft Word and Excel on an Apple Mac, although if necessary, training will be given.
- Attention to detail.
