You will ideally have 1 year experience in desktop support (Windows XP, Office 2003, LAN/WAN, VNC, plus an awareness of Server 2003 and databases). You will be responsible for providing 1st line helpdesk support to internal and remote staff, maintaining internal IT databases, incident/query call logging, updating and progressing outstanding calls on a regular basis and providing feedback to users.
Other duties include PC & laptop installations, creation of Active Directory user accounts for new starters, asset management. In return the company can offer a very competitive salary, coupled with a strong commitment to ongoing training and further career development.
