2 Credit Control positions are available within a leading media and finance company based in the City, London- and the candidate should have either German or French language skills. The successful candidates will be responsible for the entire credit control process and have previous experience in commerce and industry! This is a temp to perm role- paying 28-30k, on a permanant salary basis.
Candidate must display:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and accuracy in task completion to very high standard.
- Proven results in debt recovery and chasing a backlog of debt
- Efficiency in meeting priorities and reaching deadlines
- Studying ICM would be a definite advantage.
The roles main responsibilities are all aspects of Credit Control and Debt Management:
- Responsible for collection of invoices and holding responsibility for the ledger
- Collecting outstanding invoices through telephone, by letter, fax or email in order to obtain payment for overdue invoices.
- Regular reports and updates to senior level managment to discuss aged debtors, procedures and controls
Responsible for dealing with any invoicing queries, arranging for the issuance of credit notes if necessary.
- Assessing the credit worthiness of new and existing clients
- Sales ledger and allocations
Proven ability in computer literacy and accounting systems knowledge is required. Candidates need only apply if immediately available or on one weeks notice.
