A leading and well-known UK charitable organisation, are looking for a credit controller to join their team, at a salary level of 24-27K. This role would be reporting to the credit control manager and would be approx 35 hours a week.
Main Responsibilities
- To be primarily responsible for the pursuing and collection of all outstanding balances and to generally action continuous credit control.
- To collect all debts within organisational targets.
- To liaise with Local Authorities in cases where there is a dispute on unpaid amounts and to resolve contentious issues and disputes in order to improve cashflow.
- To post and allocate cash accurately to funder accounts and within the prescribed timescales.
- To process movements of residents for billing purposes and other additional charges
- To collect the larger contract income debts within organisational timescales.
- To post and allocate monies and process refunds payable to residents.
- To maintain the Sales Ledger through write-offs and write-backs, transfers, refunds etc.
- To carry out ad hoc assignments and to provide assistance to the Sales ledger manager and Finance Controller as required.
The client would like someone to start as soon as possible- or be on one to two weeks notice.
