Reporting to the Billings Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
* Preparation and distribution of billing guides in accordance with agreed service standards
* Checking in bills to the centralised billing system
* Processing bills and credit notes
* Reviewing ledger accounts and reconciling data prior to recording unpaid reserves counsel fees, experts and foreign lawyers fees
* Actioning* file closure requests
* time and disbursement write offs.
* time and disbursement transfers
* * Providing administrative support to the billing and cashiers teams
* Responding to general queries and enquiries from lawyers and secretaries
* Ad-hoc duties for the billing and cashiering teams as required
The desired candidate will have the following skills and attributes: · Educated to A level standard· Minimum 1 year’s experience in a professional services environment· Numerate with keen attention to detail· Team player· Positive and flexible approach· Able to work to deadlines· Highly PC literate with strong systems skills · Good written and verbal communication skills
