Art Director

A well established online gaming company with a large customer base and excellent worldwide brand exposure is looking for an Art Director to work across all media to generate new marketing concepts for the business by exhibiting imagination, originality and intuition, helping to develop the company brand.

Key Responsibilities:

· Driving the execution of the global brand in marketing communications across the portfolio of products
· Confidently responding to briefs and presenting your concepts
· Identify the commercial needs of the business and reflecting our strong brand values
· Shaping the direction of the brand and championing its identity
· Work with the copywriter and graphic designers from both print and online disciplines with the support of the brand strategy team to identify and assist in delivering effective marketing campaigns.

Key Working Relationships:

The successful applicant will be working with a team of 10-12 marketers reporting into the Head of Marketing Creative & Design, with oversight of all creative output from graphic designers and support agencies.

· Excellent creative crafting skills – ideas, typology, layout, colour, composition, materials etc
· Good understanding of artwork/repro/print/production/finishing processes where necessary
· Excellent experience in developing commercially viable creative concepts and delivering to brief in a design studio environment
· Ability to contribute to creative strategy
· In-depth knowledge and experience of marketing communications and delivering creative promotions
· Understanding of the global/multi-channel influences on marketing communications and international brand marketing

Experience & Qualifications Required:

· A passion for design and creating effective marketing communications. Experience working in as a similar role, possibly in a digital/offline print environment.
· A love of sports and/or betting and/or poker a bonus
· Passion for excellence in your work
· Highly organised, detail oriented, thorough
· Excellent illustrator CS2, Photoshop CS2 and a good knowledge of the Adobe Premiere and In Design.
· ACE or ACP certificates in the mentioned programs a bonus.
· Experience in GIF animations and XML integration would be viewed favourably.
